From the Pastor

Dear brothers and sisters,

During the past few months, our parish has undergone some major changes. Since November 2018, we no longer have an Associate Priest. Fr. Pauly who now resides in our Rectory has a full-time ministry as chaplain at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital. In the absence of a full-time Associ- ate, we have to invite other priests to celebrate some of our weekday and weekend Masses. This has required some re- structuring. Beginning in January 2019, there will be two Masses on Mondays: 8:00 am at St. Paul’s and 9:00 am at Guardian Angels along with the Miraculous Medal and St. Jude novenas. On Tuesdays there will be no Mass celebra- tion in either Church except on holy days of obligation.

During the first week of November, our Korean community was reassigned to Our Lady of Mercy, South Bound Brook. This change has created an expected shortfall of $65,000 in our Parish's annual income, and to address this loss we will be reducing the Parish Office hours. As of January 2019, the office will be open Monday to Thursday 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Friday 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The Administrative Assistant’s position will be part-time.

Moving forward, we continue to pray that each one of us will have an enriching and transforming experience of God’s mysteries and love.

God bless. Fr. Abraham
