From the Pastor:
Our Transfiguration Parish has a wonderful vision: to have an enlightening and transforming experience of God through a greater faith and knowledge of Jesus. Like the Apostles, we are called to deepen in our relationship with the Lord and one another. Our parish committees have met, and we now need additional information from all of you in planning to build our parish community. A survey has been prepared. Starting this weekend, and for the next few weeks, this survey will be distributed in paper format. It will also be available online. Your individual responses are important. Please take time to complete this survey. We would like to have all replies received by Pentecost Sunday, May 15, 2016. Thank you very much.
I am also very grateful for your generous contributions towards paying our Diocesan Assessments.
Again, I wish you and your families blessings and the joys of Easter.
On Wednesday 27th January, Bishop Paul Bootkoski blessed the new Transfiguration of the Lord Chapel at Guardian Angels, Edison. This weekday chapel is located in the former parish office at one end of the Rectory. We are blessed that our parish community will have an additional space, consecrated and available for worship, personal prayer, and reflection.
We thank God for His blessings. We are also thankful to the bishop, the diocese, and all those who helped to get this chapel functioning.
